This is our software nexus for our educational products, collectively called 'Maggie's School Helpers'. Follow the links below to go to the respective page for information and downloading.
Maggie's School Helpers are simple programs
that are used to help teach children with Down syndrome and other
visual learners to learn basic concepts. These programs are free of
charge.
If you are a school, homeschool, or individual user, and wish to receive basic support please register the program. Registration is free
of charge and only involves emailing your school name (or name) and email
address to Melvin Software. If your school wishes to use these
programs on multiple computers, please let us know the number of
computers the software will be installed on.
Your email address will be used only to communicate regarding the programs. Of course, any donations to help maintain these individual programs would be greatly appreciated.
All of our educational programs are available together on a single CD and may be purchased for a reasonable fee. This offer is available for residents of the United States Only.
| This program is designed to help the student remember sight words. Can be used in conjunction with popular software such as Edmark Reading. | ||
| A program that allows the student to guess/count up to a certain number. A Helper is needed to score yes or no. | ||
| Find Number audibly presents the student with a challenge to find a number from a series of numbers presented on the screen. | ||
| How Many show a series of cute pictures and asks the student to guess the answer from a series of numbers presented on the screen. | ||
| More / Less displays two numbers and the student has to guess which number is more or less depending on which option is selected. | ||
